Pleasanton Volvo

As some of you might know, Pleasanton Volvo is closing. 31st is their last day. When NorCal Volvos first got together, we had a informal meet there. It was a really good turn out. I'd like to have another meet there just show our support even through these tough economical times.

I'm looking at the 23rd or the 24th (Sat or Sun). Perhaps we can do a Potluck, just hang out, photo shoot, whatevers clever. Lets do this, pick a day, and lets go!!! Let me know.

Either day works for me. I remember our meet there. I still got videos of that insane S60R tearing ass down the middle of a row of parked Volvos

I'll have to see what I can do, that's cutting it really close for me.

I already asked about the fixtures and anything volvo related they are tossing...hahaha

I wonder if they're selling their parts inventory or just shipping it elsewhere... BTW if one of you can get ahold of a Volvo banner or something equally cool to hang in my garage I'll give you a cookie!

Shit, I don't think I can do that. I only have a few numbers and they all work weekends, so this short notice wouldn't give them time to ask for time off

So what would it be; Saturday or Sunday?

eh, i actually found out they are not going away completely. That location will turn into an independent Volvo repair. All the techs are still there and so is my service writer. =)
