Should I buy an Audi?
Looking at this: http://www.norcalroadsters.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1702&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a
I dunno... it seems like its been well maintained, and it comes with the stock wheels so I can sell those things for some money back. Only thing is, I hear some horror stories about reliability issues. Mostly just the timing belt issue though, and I can keep on top of that pretty easily...
What do you guys think? I would have to sell the RX7 first, but it looks like he might be willing to wait. The other thing is, I think I might be just getting all the issues ironed out with this thing. I'm just worried I will be selling one basket case POS for a faster, more luxurious one...
Always have loved Audi A4s though...

Eh, nevermind. Gonna have to let this one go. I'm not really in any position to sell the car right now, and I will wait until I get my 242 running.
Then maybe I will look into getting something even better

Audi's are nice. Just be prepared to do the work yourself. Otherwise you will be paying out the ass in maintenance. I know this from experience on my 1990 Coupe. Not a huge fan of the A4 2.8 30v or 18.t. Both are rather gutless and somewhat overcomplicated. I'd go for a UrS4/S6 if you want something that is a fun daily.
Nice avatar btw.

Re: Should I buy an Audi?
Thats kinda what I have gathered from what I have read. Most of the complaints though have been regarding the timing belt issue, but heck, thats a problem with Volvo white blocks too.
The thing is, I currently daily drive a rotary... Not exactly the epitome of reliability there
I was looking at the 2001(ish) S4s, but they seem to have even more problems. Sure would be fun though...
I am going to sit this one out, but I will be back in the market for a replacemet for the RX7 when I get the 242 drivable again. I am thinking of possibly just taking the dive and getting a C5 'vert. I have always wanted a convertible, and I can't think of any others that I fit in that I would want.
