Hey guys and gals,

Found you guys thru the Euro Sunday site and came to check you out. I'm Chris and my fiance is Jackie, we're in Fremont with a silver '87 740 GLE wagon and a silver '94 940 wagon. I drive the 740 (which is still my first car now with less clearcoat and 488k miles), and after the luck I've had with mine she got the 940 (only 160k miles). We also belong to VCOA Golden Gate chapter and may have seen some of you in Davis. We're bringing both cars to Euro Sunday and look forward ...

Ive heard of this forum before but didnt join til now. I daily drive a 98 C70 T5 around the 707,which is one of my dream cars ive always wanted. It was stock since purchased in '06 until an accident last year which made me think about modding it to make it better then ever. As before this i never worked on it and was always going to the dealer$hip. Recently ive been hitting the track/mostly drag racing at either Infineon or Sac raceway and looking for more volvo enthusiast to meet up ...

I really enjoyed all the support that came out for this event. I thought it was sick to see soooooooo many different volvo's from pretty far back 50's 60's ? Dyno pulls at E.G.R. left a great memory of volvo peeps chillin helpin each other etc... I especially liked when someone put an adjustable cam timing gear on ...

After a long absence, I'm now back. Well, online at least. I'm moving back up to Bay Area in a few weeks, after spending a while down in LA. Might only be there for about a month or so though.

So yeah, my name is still Olov, and I still drive my T5R. Not much has changed, but there might be a few improvements in June.

Oh, and if anyone is interested in selling a set of 18" R rims, let me know!

So yeah, hope to see you all at a meet or something like that!

I really haven't done anything to it since I bought it, just drive the hell out of it. I need to get correct mirrors, the ones on there bug the hell out of me, and eventually I like to get that chrome for around the rear window. Other than that my plans are just to enjoy it. Here are the pics I posted on turbobricks.

Ok, so I'm not country so that use of "ya'll" was a bit misleading!

My name is Meg and I am new. I have been a Volvo owner for about 4 years. I started with a 89 240 DL named Bruce (which is convalescing with my Bro-in-law) and I have since moved on to a 97 850 GLT wagon named The Rocket Turtle. (the love of my life second only to my child)

Oh! and I am from the South Bay! Which is Nor-cal right?! haha.

It's cool there's a forum for us! YAY!

I'm so stoked!

Hey guys...

I used to live in Ferndale and Eureka, CA from 2003 to 2008. I purchased both of my beautiful cars from the Bay area and brought them both back to Wisconsin with me. I wish I still lived out there and there is the potential for me to attend UC Davis for graduate school in 2010. Hopefully I can become a part of the Norcal Volvo Crue once again. Till then... don't hog all the parts and rescue what you can!
